28/07/05 Large numbers of visitors head for Eden to see the summer flowers and join in the summer events with their families.

28/07/05 Summer flowers.  The Zip wire is now in full zip, you can pre book, but today it was not necessary to do so, you just buy a ticket from ticketing and off you go.

25/07/05 Fire finale on a Jungle night - Mondays to Thursdays until 10.00 pm

25/07/05 The Flying Doctor on his way down the Zip Wire. One of the first girls from the Eden Team to test the Zip Wire,  it should be open to the public from tomorrow.

21/07/05 The Prairie, just beginning to flower. The Zip wire is just visible, click and see? 

 

21/07/05 From the zip wire launch platform your destination is the distant cliff face, eventually coming to rest on the link building roof.  Come next Monday it should all be up and running.

19/07/05 The launch platform for the Zip wire, this has got to be the longest and highest Zip wire I have ever seen. The yellow ropes disappear into the distant hills.  These ordinary ropes will be replaced with a steel wire shortly.  If you have the courage, and you need it! zip your way to a thrilling ride later this week.

 

19/07/05 The largest jungle in captivity, get harnessed up and see it from the tree tops.

 

19/07/05 I can personally recommend these balloon flights in the HTB, an incredible experience.

 

18/07/05 Marketing director Dave, served drinks to a full gallery of about 300 invited guests from tourist information centres, hotels and guest house's, after a short presentation on the late evening events this year, then most of us were off to sample the hog roast.  In my case I wanted to get a good picture of the balloon flights in the Biome.

18/07/05 The Hog Roast was very tasty, in the WTB Zambula and Laye Sow were playing to the delight of all who ventured in there.

18/07/05 Before I knew it, I was in the hot seat and my body weight was being balanced with the lift of the balloon.  Just before this point I dropped my camera on it's nose and completely

Kn*****ed  it. A very kind lady had the same model Nikon 8800, the rest of the shots were taken with her camera with my memory chip in it. --Nikon a replacement quick please!!

 

18/07/05 An exhilarating rather than scary experience, once you stop shaking that is! the fantastic panorama is worth it though.

You can do this too it's just £5 for a flight, not to be missed in the HTB.
